Summary

Covenant life is not a static continuum of tranquility and uninterrupted satisfaction. In this message, Bishop Estep challenges us not to measure our joy and personal participation by whether or not we feel we are being satisfied. The call to true covenant life in the church is filled with cross-bearing, confrontation and drama. A walk with God cannot be properly lived out while separated from community.
